My artwork
As a painter, I start the process of painting with acrylics most of the time and then I continue adding oil paintings. I work intuitively spreading the painting in the canvas to create visual landscapes that I evoke from my memory. I use the unexpected movements as a dialogue with the canvas to create new imagery.
There are emotional aspects of life specially connected to my current training as an Art therapist that I like to capture in my artworks like the series Connections displayed on the menu. My relationship to sculpture started when I was a kid playing at the school creating my own clay with the sand that I found in the playground.
